TracktorqueTRACKTORQUE was certainly the talk of the track after the running of race three, the 1200 metre Telstra Business Fillies and Mares Maiden Plate. The four-year-old daughter of Hidden Dragon out of Track, is a half sister to the well performed Platinum Jack also under Scott's care.

From the wide barrier, apprentice Jess Taylor hunted her mount along to take up a prominent position, going to the lead shortly after the start. After having a bit of a breather mid-race and being rated nicely, TRACKTORQUE with her mind on the job, entered the home straight in front and full of running.

Under hands and heels riding the mare responded kicking a couple of lengths clear approaching the 200 metre mark. With the momentum continuing she went on to win by 3/4 of a length from the fast finishing Sweet Holly and Hidden Attraction, another Hidden Dragon mare, finishing in third place.

The gear changes applied by Scott turned out to be a winning move with blinkers and lugging bit coming off and a tongue control bit, cheekers and a visor going on.

CONGRATULATIONS to all the owners of TRACKTORQUE and having broken her maiden status, there'll be more wins in store.
